Notice is hereby given that the Province of British Columbia, as represented by the Ministry of Attorney General is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Community Legal Assistance Society (CLAS) (the “Supplier”).

The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below.

i. Public legal education, information and advice services related to human rights issues and services;
ii. Weekly summary advice and triage clinic;
iii. Determining eligibility for Complainant Services;
iv. Complainant services that include:

• intake;
• settlement and resolution services;
• legal advice and representation services;
• pre-hearing preparation;
• responding to preliminary applications;
• services during a hearing; and
• post-hearing services;

v. Developing an online service strategy; and
vi. Information management and reporting.
