Readers will note that "REMARKS" have been provided for many clauses. These Remarks are intended to serve as a quick reference for contracting officers regarding the recommended use of the clauses. The use of a particular clause in bid solicitations, contracts, standing offers or supply arrangements is determined by the contracting officer after an examination of the specific requirement and any special circumstances which surround it.
