Procurement Assistance Canada invites you to an event on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (Eastern Time) in a hybrid format. Join us online or in-person at the Native Women’s Association of Canada’s Social, Economic, and Cultural Innovation Centre at 120 Promenade du Portage in Gatineau, Quebec.

The following will take place both online and in-person:

• From 10:00 am to 10:55 am – Opening remarks, Land Acknowledgment, Elder’s remarks and a success story from an Indigenous business
• From 11:10 am to 12:00 pm – Upcoming Opportunities in Construction and Property
• From 11:10 am to 12:00 pm – Navigating low dollar value procurement
• From 12:50 pm to 1:05 pm – Remarks from Mark Dokis of the National Aboriginal Capital Corporations Association (NACCA)
• From 1:05 pm to 1:30 pm – Upcoming Opportunities in Information Technology and Professional Services
• From 1:30 pm to 2:25 pm – Upcoming Opportunities in Communications (Including Translation and Interpretation)
• From 2:40 pm to 3:00 pm – Elder's remarks

The following will take place in-person only:

• All day – a drop-in business networking fair (Government procurement and Innovation advisors, Skills development, Mentoring and Financing specialists)
• All day – A walk-in help desk  for multiple Government of Canada systems, including the Indigenous Business Directory, SAP Ariba, and more 
• From 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Engagement with the Transformative Indigenous Procurement Strategy Team (TIPS) 

A light lunch and beverages will also be provided.
