Teqmarq secure access to cloud based medical data using NFCe

The Tap2Tag/Teqmarq solution is an innovative system that allows third parties to gain information about an individual in a safe and secure fashion. It uses, in part, a technology that is built into most cell phones called Near Field Communication (”NFC”). This technology is used by cell phones to make contactless payments using Apple Pay or Google Pay. About 10 years ago we just decided to adapt the existing technology to produce a system where a smart phone can be used to access a wearable device such as a wristband, card or sticker. There is no complex or expensive hardware that needs to be purchased. The technology is already in the hands of the user to read the devices. Each one of our devices has a Radio Frequency IDentication (“RFID”) chip embedded inside it. This chip is embedded with a unique code that links to our system. Once a device is “tapped” using a NFC enabled smart phone the browser opens to reveal the information linked to that device. This could be a medical record, vaccination record, business card or even information on a user’s pet. Most importantly the owner of the device has complete control over the information that is seen. All of our devices are not only reliant on the use of a smart phone to access the information. Each device has a QR code as well as instructions on how to access the information using a browser on a tablet or PC. Anyone with access to the internet can see the information that the user has allowed the person to see.
