Linen Rental and Laundering, D-Division RCMP Training Branch, Manitoba, MB

Description:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for Linen Rental and Laundering Services one (1) day a week. The Training Service Branch manages forty (40) barracks rooms. The barracks operates like a hotel and provides personnel a place to stay while at the RCMP’s D Division Headquarters.
The Contractor must provide all labour, material, equipment, shipment, supervision, personnel travel and accommodation costs to provide the service.
The contract period will be for one year from the date of contract with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to two additional one-year periods. The anticipated start date is November 1, 2023.

Basis of selection:
This procurement is conditionally set aside under the federal government Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business.
In order to be considered, the Bidder must certify that it qualifies as an Indigenous business as defined under PSIB and that it will comply with all requirements of PSIB. If bids from two (2) or more Indigenous businesses are compliant with the terms of the Request for Proposal, the contracting authority will limit the competition to those Indigenous businesses and will not consider bids from any non-Indigenous businesses that may have been submitted.
The evaluation team will determine first if there are two or more bids with a valid PSIB certification. In that event, the evaluation process will be limited to the bids with the certification; otherwise, all bids will be evaluated. If some of the bids with a valid certification are declared non-responsive, or are withdrawn, and less than two responsive bids with a valid certification remain, then all bids received will be evaluated.
A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
Tenders must be submitted to the RCMP Bid Receiving Unit as per page one of the Request for Proposal (RFP).
