Title: System Delay Equipment

Background:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) "E" Division has a requirement to purchase system delay equipment for synchronizing system inbound and outbound traffic at its hub repeater sites throughout the Province of British Columbia.  These system delay equipment are used as part of the infrastructure for public safety communication systems.  During winter conditions, accessing these installations is not always feasible, thus equipment with proven performance and reliability is essential.  Due to site space and power backup limitations, there are also specific physical and power consumption requirements.

Nature of Requirement:
The requirement includes supplying and delivering twenty eight (28) devices, granting the license for any Licensed Software required for these devices, providing hardware and software documentation, providing twelve (12) months maintenance and support and twelve (12) months warranty.  There is also an option for up to forty (40) additional devices during the contract period.

Delivery: 
The twenty eight (28) devices will be required no later than four (4) weeks from date of Contract award.

Contract Period and Options:
The proposed Contract period is for two (2) years, with an option to purchase up to forty (40) additional units of hardware under the same terms and conditions during the contract period.

Security:  There is no security requirement associated with the Contract.

The goods will be delivered to the following location:

RCMP “E” Division HQ
Surrey, BC, Canada

Trade Agreements:
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

To ensure a response before bid closing date, all enquires must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Officer at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid closing date.
