NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP) Solicitation #: FP802-150057 Closing Date: June 29, 2015 Time: 2:00 p.m. Invitation to Tender FP802-150057 Title: Restoration of the Cape Norman Light Tower, NL Sealed, signed tenders will be received up to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time: Monday June 29, 2015 for the attached services in accordance with the documents enclosed. Please address the bid to Beverly Shawana. Make sure any outside envelope (i.e. courier envelopes) are addressed as per the sample below. The onus is on the bidder to ensure that the bid is delivered on time to the location designated. The bidder is required to supply with their bid: Bid Security Proof of Insurance Any tender received after the above noted time will be considered late and will be returned to the sender unopened. Tenders may be revised by email, letter or fax (613) 991-1297, provided the tender and revision(s) are both received prior to Tender Closing Time. Nature of the Work: The work covered under this project consist of furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for all restoration of the exterior of the Light Tower in Cape Norman in NL, in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of Contract. Location of Work, Work site and Delivery Point: The site is located is the tip of the Great Northern Peninsula, NL and is accessible by road. Site coordinates are Latitude: 51.628248, Longitude: -55.905876. Mandatory Site Visit The site visit will occur over a one day period at the Cape Norman, NL location on June 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Contractor is responsible for all costs associated with getting from home base to Cape Norman. Specific meeting location will be clarified during the tender call. Contractors wishing to visit the site must contact the Contracting Authority to confirm attendance and obtain further information/schedule. Please Note: - If weather is poor on the scheduled site visit day, it will occur on the following day; - A maximum of 2 persons per Contractor will be permitted; - Time allocated on site will be a maximum of 2 hours; - 2 days advanced noticed is to be given to the Contracting Officer will respect to the company and individuals attending the visit It is a requirement for all persons wishing to tender on this project to attend this meeting at the site to familiarize themselves fully with the scope of work and the tendering requirements. The Bidder’s Representative must sign an attendance list and attend the entire site visit, to have their bid submission considered responsive. Start Date: Upon Contract Award Completion Date: All work to be completed within 12 weeks from contract award date.
