Ground Maintenance & Snow Removal
To supply labour (including supervision of personnel), material, equipment and tools necessary to carry out grounds maintenance contract at Industry Canada –
Communications Research Centre and outlying areas, including lawn cutting, tree, shrub & hedge trimmings, fertilizing and weed control, debris pickup (all pickup and disposal costs are to be included) and sweeping as per drawings.
Work under this contract also covers the supply of labour, material and equipment necessary to carry out snow and ice control on or around roadways, loading ramps, sidewalks, parking lots, access roads, steps, doorways, emergency and fire exits, oil filler pipes, gas outlets, fire hydrants, bus shelters at Industry Canada, Communications Research Centre as per this specification and drawings.
Due to security reason on Campus, the site visit drawings will be provided at the mandatory job showing.

A Mandatory Site Visit will be held at CRC Campus located at 3701 Carling Avenue, Ottawa, ON, on July 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time.
Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit cannot submit a proposal.
Bidders that are planning to participate in the Mandatory Site Visit must email ic.crc-procurement.ic@canada.ca to confirm Company and name of representative; no later than two (2) working days prior to the Site Visit. Photo identification is required for access onto campus grounds.
Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the sites
