Base marine cable haul out system replacement

The scope of work consists of:

1) Removal and disposition of the existing marine cable haul out system.

2) Designing, supplying and installing a marine cable haul out system of no less than 25 ton capacity complete with all appurtenances including; but, not necessarily limited to the following:

a. Winch drum

b. Wire rope/cable, including snatch block and associated loose tackle

c. Winch power unit

d. Weatherproof operator control station

e. Suitable protective and weatherproof equipment enclosure; and

f. Reinforced concrete foundation

3) Restoring, as necessary; and

4) Erecting and maintaining any and all measures required to complete the works in consideration of the reasonably anticipated weather conditions during the construction period.

LOCATION OF WORK, WORK SITE AND DELIVERY POINT:

The location of the work site is as followed:

Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) Base – Kenora, 1100 Third Ave. South, Kenora, Ontario P9N 4H4. The facility is located within Kenora, Ontario

Start Date: Contract Award

Completion Date: Friday, March 31, 2017
