Rehabilitation of the ventilation systems at the NHS of the Forges du St-Maurice

Description of Work:

This project consists in the complete rehabilitation of the ventilation systems of the Grande-Maison and Haut-Fourneau buildings at the National Historic Site of the Forges du St-Maurice. Decommissioning the mechanical and electrical features of the building, as well as other related works are to be expected.

Closing Date and Time: Wednesday, August 30, 2017 - 2:00 PM EDT

OPTINAL SITE VISIT

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the meeting point of the St-Jean-des-Piles Welcome Center on August 10, 2017. The site visit will begin at 9:00 EDT.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than August 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM EDT to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Construction Time:

The contractor will begin the work on September 5, 2017 and complete the work on or before March 31^st , 2018.
