The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of (1,230) Shorts, Uniform in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-372 dated 2017-05-15, and patterns.
The requirement also includes (2) optional quantities of five hundred (500) Shorts, Uniform each, which can be exercised within (12) and (24) months respectively.
There is an “as and when requested” flexible stock quantity of (200) shorts uniform and an “as and when requested” special sized quantity of (30) Shorts, Uniform which can each be ordered within (36) months of contract award.
The specification documents can be found attached to the Request for Proposal (RFP).
Pattern(s) will only be available to bidders that are requested to submit a pre-contract award sample.
First delivery is requested within (45) days of contract award.
This requirement is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
This requirement is limited to Canadian Goods (See CFTA, Article 503, paragraph 4).
The responsive bid with the lowest total evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract (1 contract only).
The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
The Ineligibility and Suspension Policy and integrity clauses are being incorporated in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.
Bids must be submitted only to Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated on page 1 of the bid solicitation.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
