Request for Standing Offer - Chiller Services, AAFC, Lethbridge Research and Development Centre

REQUIREMENT:

The Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), Lethbridge Research Centre at 5403 – 1 Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta has a requirement for a company to provide labour, parts and material, tools and equipment, and transportation for Refrigeration Services and /or decommissioning work on chillers and cooling towers on an "as and when required" basis.

The company must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via phone or cell number and provide a Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic, on site, for any emergency services (such as a total chiller system shutdown) within 1 hour. All other maintenance service requests will be coordinated with the Facility Manager.

SERVICES:

The type of "as required" services include (but are not limited to):

• Annual Winter Preventative Maintenance;

• Spring Start Up;

• Troubleshooting and repairs;

• Decommissioning and or/installation of new equipment; 

• Emergency services (such as a total chiller system shutdown);

A detailed description of the services can be found in the RFSO documents, Appendix B. Canada anticipates awarding a Standing Offer September 1, 2018 for One (1) year with an option to extend for up to Three (3) additional One (1) year option years.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:

Companies have the option to view the site prior to submitting a bid. There will be an Optional Site Visit on June 21^st, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. See details within the RFSO.
