Parks Canada Agency has a requirement for construction services for the rehabilitation of the stone powder magazine at Fort George National Historic Site. Work for this project comprises of masonry repair, restoration and roof installation of the stone powder magazine.

Site Visit:
There will be a mandatory site visit on March 03, 2020 at 1:00PM EST. Interested bidders are to meet at:

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the site visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the Bidder must sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

Two-Envelope Bid
Bids shall be submitted following a “two-envelope” procedure.
Bid Security:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $100,001 > $500,000 Taxes extra.
Delivery Date:
The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by May 15, 2020.

This PCA office provides procurement services to the public in either official language of Canada.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
