Canadian Heritage (PCH) is responsible for national policies and programs that promote Canadian content, foster cultural participation, active citizenship and participation in Canada’s civic life, and strengthen connections among Canadians. PCH’s mission is to promote an environment in which all Canadians take full advantage of dynamic cultural experiences, celebrating our history and heritage, and participating in building creative communities. Grants and contributions (Gs&Cs) are essential tools used by PCH to achieve that mission, providing approximately $1.2 billion in Gs&Cs funding support each year. PCH funds approximately 10,000 clients annually across Canada, representing a mix of sectors including the arts, sport, culture, heritage, official languages, for a diverse suite of organizations such as non-government organizations (NGOs), private sectors, individuals and provinces.
With the magnitude of work ahead, PCH has a requirement for professional services on an “as and when” required basis, to support delivery of the project and to support PCH’s Transformation Agenda.
