The Department of National Defence has a requirement for signal smoke and illumination (signal distress, day and night No. 1 Mk 5). This requirement includes an option to purchase additional signal smoke and illumination (signal distress, day and night No.1 MK5) to be exercised at any time before the expiry of the Contract.
Delivery locations, quantities required, mandatory requirements and deliverable information are detailed under Annex A, Requirement and Annex B, Basis of Payment, of this solicitation package.
There is no security requirement associated with this requirement.
The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.
This procurement is subject to the Controlled Goods Program. The Defence production Act defines Canadian Controlled Goods as certain goods listed in Canada’s Export Control List, a regulation made pursuant to the Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA).
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
