A National Individual Standing Offer is required to provide reproducible, precise, accurate, timely and state-of-the-art analysis on environmental quality samples on a national basis. Analysis of trace levels of organic, inorganic, bacteriological and/or physical parameters must be performed in various media including, but not limited to: sediment, soil, water (fresh and marine), soil vapour, and air. This Standing Offer is to be used by the National Center of Expertise and regional managers/coordinators involved with contaminated sites within Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC); however, samples may originate from any federal department using PWGSC as a service provider. The intent of this RFSO is to issue up to three National Individual Standing Offers, valid for five years.
