Seniors, Community and Social Services - Request for Proposal - Mental Health Supports for All Front-Line Staff in the Seniors, Community and Social Services (SCSS) Ministry

SCSS is seeking the provision of proactive and preventive mental health and well-being Services and supports, which can be accessed through a digital platform in a just-in-time way that will complement current resources provided by the Government of Alberta and SCSS. The Services provided to SCSS Frontline Staff will be responsive to the needs of the SCSS Front-Line Staff accessing the Services. The Government of Alberta and SCSS requires the provision of mental health and well-being Services and supports. The Contractor will pilot these services via an existing digital platform. The Service Delivery Approach must include the following elements: • Ability to respond to the mental health needs of SCSS Front-Line Staff in proactive and preventive ways; • A digital platform, interactive approach and/or application that SCSS Front-Line Staff can access conveniently anywhere in the province at any time of day; • Access to evidence-based, tools, resources and supports that respond effectively to the stresses and mental health needs of SCSS Front-Line Staff; • Skill development resources and supports for SCSS Leadership that can be practically and tangibly delivered to SCSS Front-Line Staff; • Access to supports and expertise for Ministry requested and/or designated SCSS Leadership to address emerging needs or challenges; and • An evaluative model and approach to assess the efficacy of Services provided during the pilot, including pre- and post-pilot engagement and the provision of ongoing updates on SCSS Front-Line Staff uptake of Service and success measures.
