    Description
    The County is seeking a contractor to design, supply and install two playground structures with swing sets and to supply and install a single swinging system as an addition to an existing playground. The work details include, but not limited to: - Budget available each play structure with swing sets - $ 100,000.00 ea. maximum. - Budget available for separate swing set - $27,500 maximum. The current playground has an eight-foot two bay swing, we are looking for an additional swing system. For example, a multi-user swing, tire, web, glider or saucer. - All sites are large and relatively flat, have existing playgrounds on them, so no size restrictions. See Schedule A for site details. - Existing playgrounds will be removed by Lac La Biche County. - Substrate to consist of Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) to a depth to meet CSA requirement. - Structures to be bordered using plastic border material. - Contractor will perform all aspects of construction including, but not limited to, • Site excavation, • Removal of material, • Delivery of product, • Erection and installation of equipment, • Installation of substrate. • Clean up of site.
