Description
CPPP is a popular provincial park near Whitecourt that provides recreational opportunities including but not limited to fishing, camping, boating and bird watching. The existing seawall within the provincial park is constructed of timber pile and lagging structure that runs along the shoreline. The structure is approximately 250m long and was last refurbished in 2004.
This project entails demolition and disposal of existing seawall and boat house, replacement of the seawall with a new sheet pile retaining wall, replacement of a wooden staircase connecting the pathway behind the seawall to the parking lot above and reclamation and re-vegetation of the land where the boat house is currently located.
Refer to Specifications package for detailed background and project scope.
