City of Leduc - Advanced Contract Award Notice / Notice of Proposed Procurement - Notice of Proposed Procurement

The City of Leduc is proceeding with the following procurement: Notice is hereby given by the City of Leduc (City) of its intent to contract with Bobcat of Nisku for the purchase of a multipurpose utility vehicle (Toolcat UW56 with attachments). This procurement is estimated at approximately $130,000. It is the intent of the City to award this procurement for the following reasons: • The Bobcat Toolcat is a specialized piece of equipment; the City is unaware of any other known vendors, outside of Bobcat, that offers equipment equivalent to the Toolcat. • Product availability for this unit is estimated at 2 months. For consideration, any party that wishes to object to this proposed procurement action must contact the individual listed below by e-mail, by the closing date and time. Vendor communication must include specific information relating to the vendor’s ability, qualifications, and proven experience and solutions to offer a cost effective, equivalent product and service that meets or exceeds the solution provided by Bobcat of Nisku and would be advantageous to the City. This information will be used as the criteria for consideration. The City reserves the right to determine the relevance of any communication received and accept or reject the communication as deemed in the best interest of the City. The decision to accept or reject will be based on the City’s determination of the vendor’s statement of capabilities successfully meeting or exceeding the requirements.
