    Description
The Request for Prequalification (PRQ) is an invitation by The Governors of the University of Calgary, a corporation continued pursuant to the Post-Secondary Learning Act, SA, 2003, C.P-19.5 (the “University of Calgary”, “University” or UCalgary) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of Deliverables as further described in Appendix A (Specifications). The intention of this PRQ is to prequalify Proponent(s) with previous experience in developing software systems specific to a mobile health intervention digital platform. This system will be used by the Survivors of Childhood Cancer Program. The successful proponent(s) will be shortlisted and invited to have a collaborative dialogue with UCalgary end users regarding their Software development experience, as well how to they would work with Ucalgary to create a mobile health intervention digital platform. After the collaborative dialogue, those same proponents will be invited to submit a proposal to a closed Request for Proposal (RFP). Once a successful proponent(s) has been awarded, the intention is to award a non-exclusive contract. A detailed timeline is outlined in Appendix A (Specification). UCalgary anticipates awarding the PRQ to approximately (but not limited to) 1 to 3 companies. As needed the University reserves the absolute right to prequalify additional firms at any time if it is in the best interests of the University to do so. The intent is to have an appropriate number of pre-qualified suppliers. ca The final goal is to find a successful Proponent that will: a) Work with the Survivors of Childhood Cancer Group on creating a Mobile Health Intervention Digital Platform b) Provide support and maintenance for the Mobile Health Intervention Digital Platform once it has been completed.
