This is a transformative time for Alberta Innovates. The organization is looking to set a bold, new direction-- one that is aligned with the future of innovation in the province, the evolved entrepreneurial ecosystem, and Government of Alberta’s Technology and Innovation strategy. Alberta must become more competitive on the world stage. With more partners emerging on the provincial scene and technological advances across the globe, there is a strong need for Alberta Innovates to sharpen its focus on enhanced productivity, leading-edge technology and – critically important – healthy collaboration. We are privileged to have many key partners in Alberta’s innovation and technology sectors, and it’s imperative that we further grow those partnerships. Many of these partners are new in the last five years and need to be better considered in our next phase. To guide our transformation, Alberta Innovates is looking to complete the next iteration of the comprehensive Program Review which aligns and informs the evolution of Alberta Innovates’ Strategic Plan.
