Description
The Greater St. Albert Catholic School Division, which serves over 5,700 students in the municipalities of St. Albert, Morinville and Legal is seeking an individual to provide mental health services to First Nations children and families, at multiple school locations. The individual shall have an active registration with a college or institution that authorizes them to provide mental health therapy or counseling services along with an understanding of Jordan's Principle funding. The vendor will be working with students affected by intergenerational trauma and must be willing to provide culturally appropriate interventions to meet the unique needs of First Nations children. Collaboration with the school learning team to enhance the students' social-emotional and educational experience will also be required.
