    Description
Communications and Public Engagement (CPE) is issuing this RFP to secure the services of a qualified Contractor to deliver telephone town halls to Purchasers on an “as-needed” basis with no guarantees of work. Telephone town halls often support high profile outreach initiatives and have also been used to support emergency communications with stakeholders and affected members of the public. These can be required on very short notice to enable senior government officials, including ministers, to communicate with Albertans about government priorities. Potential audiences include members of the public as well as stakeholder groups. Geographic coverage of telephone town halls may include attendees from across Alberta or from specific regions. This may include audiences ranging from 25 -200,000 participants. Only those phone numbers that are publicly available and/or registered (i.e. phone numbers not found on the federal and Government of Alberta Do Not Call) lists may be called. The successful Proponent will be responsible to update and keep track of an overall “do not call list” across events. The successful Proponent will work with Telus and other service providers as necessary to ensure calling is done in a responsible and organized manner that does not disrupt the phone system and is in accordance with Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) requirements. If Purchasers choose to request Services under this RFP, Purchasers will issue a SOW by email. A SOW describes the Services, and any specific requirements. Such requirements may be in addition to those described in this RFP. The Services the Province requires are further described in Appendix B to this RFP.

    Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/12/01.
