Description
The Alberta Foundation for the Arts is seeking to enter into a five year contract with experienced providers to partner with and deliver Travelling Exhibition Programming (TREX) services in four regions of Alberta. The AFA is requesting Proposals from non-commercial public galleries, arts organizations or other suitable Proponents that have experience with public programming, art exhibition development and/or exhibition circulation of Alberta visual art to provide the Travelling Exhibition Program (TREX) services as identified in the AFA2024TR001 Request for Proposals document. When submitting a proposal, interested Proponents must clearly specify in their proposal the TREX service region (i.e. Region 1, 2, 3 or 4) they are submitting a proposal for. If they wish to be considered for more than one region, a separate proposal needs to be submitted specific to each region. Successful Proponents (one associated with each TREX Region of Alberta) will be responsible for engaging a TREX Manager/Curator (Resource) to coordinate the AFA’s Travelling Exhibition Program in that region.

The estimated contract period will be 60 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/04/01.
