Forestry and Parks - Request for Proposal - Beaver Lake Firebase Electrical Upgrade

The Province is Requesting Proposals for the Fire Base’s electrical upgrade from 400 amp single phase to 600 amp Single Phase. Fortis will be completing an Aerial to Ground service conversion and will be replacing the existing pole mounted 75KVa transformer with a concrete ground pad (steel housed) 167KVa transformer along with the appropriate meter within a few meters of the required New Power Distribution Building. The Province requires the current Power Distribution Cabinet to be replaced with a 8x12 Metal-clad, piled building complete with new electrical distribution equipment. Beaver Lake Fire Base Location: Legal Land Description: 13-34-66-13-W4 GPS Coordinates: 54.760191, -111.892876 Municipal address is 13277 TWP Rd 670. Beaver Lake Fire Base is located approximately 4kms east of the town of Lac La Biche on Highway 663.
