    Description
    The swimming pool and hot tub, located within the NexSource Centre at 4823 49 ave, Sylvan Lake, currently have fiberglass filter tanks that are requiring replacement as they are well past their lifecycle expectancy. We reserve the right to salvage some of the equipment. The annual pool shut down maintenance is scheduled for August 17-September 26, 2025, and would be the ideal time to have this project completed. This project includes the following: • Removal of the strainers, pumps, valves, variable frequency drive, and flow meters. This equipment must be left on site in an identified area. • Removal and disposal of the filter tanks, piping and sand. All other items remain property of the Town of Sylvan Lake and must be left on site. • Engineering services and doors modifications, if required, for equipment that cannot fit through the mechanical room door. • Freight and offloading costs • Supply and installation of filter tanks and filter media • Supply and installation of flow meters • Supply and installation of new pumps and strainers • Supply and installation of new variable frequency drives • Supply and installation of Plumbing and valves • Staff Training • Equipment startup, including the provision of operational procedures in both electronic and paper formats.

    The estimated contract period will be 5 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/03/31.
