Wood Buffalo Housing - Invitation to Bid - Replacement Windows at Ayabaskaw Home

This project entails a complete replacement of the windows at Ayabaskaw Home, a senior's facility in Fort Chipewyan. The current windows, which are over 20 years old and feature wooden frames and roll shutters, have suffered deterioration, resulting in heat loss, seal failure, and water infiltration. The selected contractor will be responsible for removing and properly disposing of the existing windows, as well as supplying and installing high-performance, energy-efficient windows. Given Fort Chipewyan's remote location, all windows and materials must be transported to the site via barge during the summer or by winter road, depending on cost-effectiveness and timing considerations.
