Description
Caur Technology will be conducting Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) data collection at Vortex Energy’s Robinson Salt Project in Newfoundland in a time frame required to ensure project completion prior to the end of August 2025. Caur Technology is offering a fully integrated ANT solution optimized for imaging large, deep salt structures. Their system uses a dense array of triaxial seismic sensors combined with advanced AI-driven processing to generate high-resolution 3D shear-wave velocity models to depths exceeding 1.5 km. With a technical team grounded in geophysics and exploration geology, Caur Technology aligns closely with the project’s scientific and commercial goals. Their commitment to delivering interpretable geological products (rather than just raw data) ensures that the University will receive actionable insights for cavern delineation and future drill targeting. Caur Technology will be providing hands-on training to students from the University of Alberta as part of the field team. This hands on training approach creates valuable educational opportunities for participating students.
