Clearwater County - Invitation to Bid - Bridge Rehabilitation and Other Work

The Work at Bridge File 76818 carrying Range Road 393A over the Bighorn River, involves substructure rehabilitation and limited superstructure rehabilitation on the existing steel truss bridge. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractor’s convenience. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: - Mobilization - Traffic Accommodation for Bridge Construction - Stripdeck Replacement - Partial Replacement of Subdeck - Wheelguard Replacement - Bridgerail Replacement - Approach Rail Repairs - Sister Stringers - Truss Repairs - Replace Caps and Corbels - Reset Bearings - Treat and Band Piles - Miscellaneous Repairs Each bidder, in submitting a Tender, acknowledges that he has examined the site and the surrounding area; and is familiar with all conditions and /or restrictions that could affect or limit his operations due to such things as environmental constraints, public traffic, and property of others. Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor must supply all materials necessary to complete the Work. A complete job is called for, therefore any labour, material, equipment, tool or incidental item not specifically mentioned, but necessary for completeness will be considered incidental to the Work, and no separate or additional payment will be made.
