The City of Calgary is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced tree growers and nurseries for the supply and delivery of trees according to the requirements of The City of Calgary’s Urban Forestry department. All trees, including root stock and seed source, must be suitable for the growing conditions within Calgary. This RFP includes the following eight (8) schedules representing the estimated annual quantities: Schedule A1 – 10,000 #5 Containers for Branching Out Events Schedule A2 – 3,000 #5 Containers for Community Projects Schedule A3– 5,000 #2 Containers for Volunteer Planting Schedule A4 –3000 #10 Containers for Various Planting Events Schedule B1 – 4,000 Wire Baskets Schedule B2 – 500 Wire Baskets >70mm – Vaults Schedule C1 – 2,000 Liner Out & Bare Root Stock Schedule C2 – 3,000 Bare Root Stock for Partnerships and Programming (P&P)
