Supplemental Audit Resources

The mission of Corporate Internal Audit Services is to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight. CIAS helps the Government of Alberta accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes. CIAS provides independent, objective services designed to add value and improve the Government of Alberta’s operations. CIAS is soliciting services to supplement its in-house expertise and resources with that of an external service provider, as required. Under the direction of CIAS, the Contractor will be responsible for providing Primary Services for internal audit reviews on an individual or team basis (as further described in sections 3.1 and section 1 of Appendix B). These projects tend to be complex and may require specialized competencies in various areas. The range of specialized competencies is dependent on the specific project to be undertaken. CIAS will enter into the Master Agreement with one successful Proponent to provide the Primary Services for the term of the Master Agreement. However, the Contractor is not assured any volume or value of work pursuant to the Master Agreement as all work will be on an “as required” basis. For more information, please refer to the document.
