Chinook Trail Functional Planning and Design Study

The successful consultant will outline the team of professionals available to perform the following scope of work: • Establish the right-of-way to accommodate the Chinook Trail arterial road alignment and an overhead power transmission line along Chinook Trail. Project limits are as follows: o Chinook Trail arterial roadway – Walsh Drive to Métis Trail (see Attachment 1). o Establish the alignment of the overhead power transmission line from substation 181S to Chinook Trail, along Chinook Trail to Métis Trail, and along Métis Trail to substation 674S (see Attachment 2). • Engineering survey to establish base conditions for civil and electrical design, plan and profile, storm drainage, and intersection design. • Undertake community and stakeholder engagement for the road alignment and overhead power transmission line. • Establish whether updates to abutting Area Structures Plans or Outline Plans are required. Updates may be required as the right-of-way width must accommodate the overhead power transmission line and run parallel to the Chinook Trail and Métis Trail alignments.
