MD of Bighorn Wildland Fire Apparatus

This specification document establishes minimum standards for the design and performance criteria essential for 2 Wildland Fire apparatus, Type 6, quad cab, 4x4, super single tires for the Municipal District of Bighorn No. 8. The fire apparatus bid must meet or exceed current Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and ULC standards, and any other applicable standards. Any omission from the specifications shall not relieve bidders from the responsibility of furnishing equipment for the intended purpose. Any deviation from the specifications must be identified and thoroughly explained in writing, and if accepted shall become a part of the final contract. These specifications shall in no way be construed as restricting the bid to a specific brand name. This is an RFP only, and will not necessarily give rise to a contract.
