Description
Fire Behaviour prediction is a critical component of decision making that helps wildfire management understand the probable consequences of decisions. The public release of the Wildfire Intelligence Simulation Engine (WISE) allows for the creation of fully automated fire growth modelling services to simulate, predict, and visualize the progression of wildfire. The Province is seeking automated fire growth simulation modelling services. The services will provide accurate real-time simulated fire behaviour data for all point and polygon ignitions within the province within five (5) minutes of receiving updated information. The services will provide larger progressive fire perimeter outputs within one (1) hour of receiving updated information.

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 11 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/04/14.
