Description
1. This RFSO is open to all interested vendors. 2. The City requires the services of a pre-qualified firm to provide engineering and architectural services for Calgary Electrification Project: Engineering Services for Battery Electric Buses, Chargers and Associated Infrastructure. This project anticipates the following phases: a)Phase 1: i)Assist The City with the preparation of RFP packages for the procurement of electric buses and charging equipment; ii)Preliminary Design for retrofitting Spring Gardens and Anderson bus storage facilities and sizing bus charging equipment; b)Phase 2: Detailed Design for retrofitting Spring Gardens and Anderson bus storage facilities with the procured charging equipment; c)Phase 3: Construction Administration Services; and d)Phase 4: Post Construction Services. The initial award in this Agreement is for Phase 1 only. Progression to subsequent phases will be conditional upon budget, other City approvals and conclusion of the procurement strategy lead by The City. 3. Anticipated project completion is Q3 2024 4. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
