Description
The District of Sooke is taking steps to construct a new trail connection known as the Little River (DeMamiel Creek) Pedestrian Crossing and is seeking to engage private sector firms with experience and proven capacity to deliver engineering design services and project management. This request for proposals (RFP) has been issued to evaluate prospective firms with demonstrated capacity to assemble a team of professionals to complete the final design of the multiuse trail, boardwalks, and pedestrian bridge, prepare tender documents and project manage the construction of the project. The Proponent will take the lead in the development and execution of the project. The construction of the Little River Pedestrian Crossing which will, if budgets allow, ideally begin in summer 2023. This RFP document sets-out the details of the Services required; the process for submission, evaluation and award of the Contract; the terms and conditions of the Contract; plus, an outline of the information a Respondent to this RFP should submit in their Proposal.
