Description
The Royal BC Museum (RBCM) invites interested parties to submit Proposals for the provision of Property Management and Preventative Maintenance Services (the ‘Services").
The Contractor will supply the required expertise and personnel to administer the preventative maintenance program and ensure that the museum complex and buildings are operational as required. It is intended that in providing services to the RBCM, the Contractor will enter into all subcontracts required and purchase all materials, supplies, and services for the properties on behalf of the RBCM. The Contractor will provide qualified on-site and off-site personnel and Subcontractors required for the effective and efficient operation and maintenance of the buildings and property. The Contractor will be expected to provide twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days per week emergency response and call out procedures as part of the Contract.
The RBCM intends to enter into one (1) Contract with the highest scoring Proponent who meets all mandatory criteria. The anticipated term of the Contract is five (5) years with the option to extend at the sole discretion of the RBCM for two (2) additional terms of up to one (1) year each for a maximum Contract term of seven (7) years.
The Contract start date is anticipated to be February 1, 2024.
The Contractor should be aware that the Contract will include a provision giving the RBCM the option to cancel the Contract.
