    Description
    Recreation Sites and Trails BC is soliciting for a contractor to maintain and supervise the Chimney Lake/Felker Recreation Site system (3 recreation sites in total) located near Williams Lake, British Columbia for an initial term of May 1, 2024 to October 15, 2024 with possibility of extension for multiple years.

    The Chimney/Felker Lake Recreation Sites are located approximately 25 minutes south of Williams Lake and are a popular destination for fishing and camping activities. The current level of use requires the presence of an On-site Operator to provide maintenance and supervision services to ensure a positive visitor experience. 

    These sites have a well-established history as fee-for-service Recreation Sites. It has been maintained to a required standard with a solid client base due to having paved access, proximity to Williams Lake and a lake with great fishing and water sports.

    It has been determined that this operation cannot be carried out with less than 2 people. The successful candidate will need to identify staffing levels (this can be a partner, friends, family, or hired staff).

    Required for the position:
    • Willingness to provide a continuous on-site presence and daily maintenance during the Operation Season.
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Must be able to provide own tools and equipment required for maintenance of sites.
