Description
The Province is developing approaches to improve regulated products and calculations of production-weighted average emissions intensities (PWAEIs) used to establish emissions limits under the new industrial carbon pricing mechanism known as the B.C. Output-Based Pricing System (B.C. OBPS), including evaluating the regulated products and PWAEIs for oil and gas processing and compression. This Request for Proposals seeks a Proponent to conduct a study that aims to review existing regulated product and PWAEI methodologies for the oil and gas sector regulated by the B.C. OBPS and propose recommendations.
