Description
On August 14,2023, the site for the Glenmore Protective Services Building was approved by City Council among six other locations. The objectives of this project is to return the current Glenmore Firehall site to the Agricultural Land Reserve as part of the Glenmore Park agreement with the Agricultural Land Commission; to replace the existing Glenmore Fire Hall, which is at the end of its service life, with a facility suited to the growth of the community; and to support and modernize the Kelowna Fire Department’s firehall network and improve current and future service levels. The chosen site is a 107-acre site, owned by the City, and has a temporary residential lease with an existing gravel driveway access.
The City is looking to select a highly collaborative team that will use the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model to deliver the Project.
