Description
This contract will be awarded to a faculty member at the University of Northern British Columbia who can recruit and supervise a graduate student to support the Ministry in executing and delivering an on-farm research and demonstration project investigating how enhanced efficiency fertilizers (EEFs) and sensor-based tools can improve nitrogen (N) use efficiency by:Reducing GHG emissions and ammonia volatilization following N application Reducing post-harvest nitrate Synchronizing N rate and availability with crop uptake to maintain/improve yieldThe aggregate value of the contract is $70,000.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 32 month(s).
