The City of Grand Forks is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to review the existing fire services contract and support the drafting and presentation of a new agreement between the City of Grand Forks and the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (RDKB).
The existing agreement outlines fire service delivery, governance, cost sharing, asset responsibilities, reporting, and operational responsibilities. The agreement has been identified for renewal and modernization to address concerns related to equipment ownership, budget approval, and operational decision making.
