See Schedule B Addendum for details and locations of specific work units. Block treatment maps and project overview maps are included with this tender. Treat alder by cutting down, ensuring that stumps are less than 30 cm tall. Maple will be treated by cutting coppices and leaving 1-2 dominant stems remaining. Treatment of minor deciduous species (other than those identified as the primary treatment species) by cutting to stumps less than 30cm tall is required in all work units. Work is to be concluded by November 30, 2023. This may involve overlap with times of elevated fire danger.
The majority of blocks have experienced some level of road deactivation, and as a result, vehicle access to or within brushing units may be limited and the use of an ATV may be required.
