E.C. MANNING PARK - CASTLE CREEK EQUESTRIAN BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
Backcountry Design – Build
This Request is specific to work within BC Parks, Okanagan Region. The Province is looking for proponents, who will supply services as further defined in this RFP. The works defined in this opportunity are expected to begin February 2025 with a targeted completion of July 2025.
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, BC Parks (“the Ministry”) requires construction services along with qualified professional services for backcountry construction. Requirements include the manufacturing, supply, and installation of one new estimated 80ft long x 4ft wide, aluminium truss equestrian bridge as shown on the SAMPLE construction drawings. The construction of the bridge abutments as shown on the construction drawings.
All works are to take place in E.C Manning Provincial Park, specifically the Castle Creek Bridge Crossing, as shown on the associated mapping in Appendix D. There are no roads to the proposed bridge site, access has been determined to be within remote backcountry, and works are expected to require helicopter and suspended loads to complete the project.
A mandatory virtual supplier meeting will be held before the Closing Date and Time at:
2025-01-08 at 1pm PST via Microsoft Teams Digital Platform.
