Simultaneous Interpretation Services
This requirement is for: Women and Gender Equality Canada
The intention of this process is to issue two distinct contracts with two separate suppliers. Once the contracts are issued, the work will be distributed based on the principle of the right of first refusal. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

Description of the Requirement:
Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE) is seeking qualified contractors who can provide Simultaneous interpretation for virtual and in-person events and meetings with virtual components to ensure that content is available in Canada’s official languages, English and French.
Security Requirement:
There is no security requirement.
Canadian Content:
The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and services.
Applicable Trade Agreements:
• Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)
Proposed period of contract:
The proposed period of contract is one year period.
Option to Extend the Contract:
The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one (1) year period(s) under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment.

Inquiries regarding this RFP requirement must be submitted to the Contracting Authority named above. Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be e-mailed directly from the Contracting Authority to the Identified Suppliers who are being invited to bid on this requirement. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT “CANADA BUYS” IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language.
