    DESCRIPTION:
    Global Affairs Canada (GAC) is seeking is seeking the services of a Contractor to carry out the asset and warehouse management on an “as and when required” basis in various locations such as Western Region, National Capital Region, etc.

    GAC via its Summit Management Office (SMO) has been tasked with the organization, planning and delivery of a major event at various venues in the Kananaskis and Banff regions of Alberta.

    The Contractor’s mandate will be to provide moving and warehouse staff, all the equipment necessary to store and handle the goods/material needed for the smooth running of the event. The contractor’s mandate is also to provide the trucks drivers and support staff for deliveries between sites.

All enquiries must be submitted in writing by e-mail to the Contracting Authority no later than seven (7) calendar days before the RFP closing date and time in order to be considered by GAC. Throughout the RFP bidding process, GAC shall endeavour to provide responses to inquiries (by the issuance of addenda) deemed relevant by GAC and received in writing by the Contracting Authority. Only information provided in addenda shall be an integral part of the RFP and any resulting contract. All addenda will be posted on Tender opportunities | CanadaBuys.

    Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

    There is no public opening scheduled.

    BASIS OF SELECTION:
    Canada will make its selection based on the compliant offer with the highest combined rating of technical merit and price for award. The ratio will be 70% for the technical merit and 30% for the price.
