    Nature of Requirements:

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to construct a large granite monument on the grounds of CSC’s Ontario Regional Headquarters, 445 Union Street Kingston, ON K7L 4V4 as per the drawings and specifications CSC provides.

    Objectives: To complete the building of a large granite monument on the grounds of CSC’s Ontario Regional Headquarters.

    Deliverables:
    The Contractor must provide all manpower, supplies, tools, equipment and transportation to the construction site as applicable, to perform the following:
    - Protect the trees surrounding the construction site from heavy equipment by installing the necessary tree protections.
    - Prepare the grounds and foundation as necessary to ensure the structural stability of the monument.
    - Supply and install the solid granite necessary to form the monument.
    - Install the historical bell, supplied by the Correctional Service Canada Museum, as part of the monument.
    - Install a 2m wide sidewalk from the roadway to the center of the monument.
    - Level and re-sod grounds surrounding the monument.

    Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.
