McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the supply of Food Services for the David Braley Health Sciences Centre located at 100 Main Street West in Hamilton, Ontario in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.
McMaster’s objective is to seek a partner that will provide food services to the building tenants, visitors and patients through daily food offerings and catering to internal events and external clients when requested. The Food provider will be listed as one of the only two preferred food suppliers to events that require food on the second floor of the building.
The current space (720 sq. ft.) is outfitted with a full-service coffee/café counter with refrigerated display counters, grab-and-go counter, espresso machine, brewers and related equipment, dishwasher, under counter fridge, freezers, convection oven, sandwich salad units and other related items needed to operate a cafe. The café seating area is approximately 2400 sq. ft. and has seating for 60 patrons. A tenant support/storage space (113 sq. ft.) located in the basement is also part of the café.
In the fall/winter of 2023 McMaster will be opening a 30 story Graduate Residence across the street from DBHSC at 10 Bay Street. The building will have the capacity for 600 plus graduate students and their family members.
