    Description
    D2.          SCOPE OF WORK

    D2.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the pre-purchase and future 
    installation of six vehicle hoists for the Winnipeg Transit Garage Building located at 421 Osborne 
    Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba in support of the Winnipeg Transit Hoist Replacement Program.

    D2.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
    (a)   the supply and delivery of six bus hoists to a City of Winnipeg owned facility for temporary 
    storage;
    (b)   bus hoist installation during a future construction contract, which is planned to be awarded 
    shortly after this goods and services Contract; installation will be administered under a cash 
    allowance, refer to Section 01 21 00 – Allowances;
    (c)    the provision of bus lift Shop Drawings, Operation and Maintenance Manual documentation, 
    manufacturers warranty, and other closeout documentation specified;
    (d)   commissioning of bus hoists; and
    (e)   attendance of a warranty site visit for identification and correction of any deficiencies.
